Rolling road day

Anyone up for it??? I know I would be up for it for the craic to see what the beast is putting out There is a few places we can go. There's Xtreme autos in Waterford but their dyno is a optimistic and there is one in Kerry too.

The best I would imagine would be Westward engineering in enfield in west meath or we can go to Coutre Auto in Dublin and book the place out if we get enough cars for it.

Damien.

I might be up for this depending on when it is. would be interesting to see what the new engine is putting out when I get it back together.

Re: Rolling road day

For 2wd drive cars it should be depending on where you go 60-80 euro I would imagine if we get enough people we may be able to get it cheaper.

Re: Rolling road day

If we could work out a rolling road followed by a custom remap it'd be sweet!

Surely you'd need a starting point though, a benchmark to work from One from, say, this year :P

That would be monumental money but if my uncle comes through he is getting software to crack the Bosch ECU's so we may have someone to road map our cars or spend 300 euro for the day on a Dyno.

Re: Rolling road day

what would you be calling monumental money? I suppose if you could get a rolling road remap for 250 I'd think it'd be worth it! Probably wishful thinking though

Re: Rolling road day

Your talking about 4-500 Euro really for a RR'd remap. And I was looking into someone over here to do it on your own ECU you can't it will have to be a piggy back like a Gems or a emerald or a Unichip.

I was just talking to CDA Aka Couture Auto in Couture Auto

They are mainly a Japanse tuner but they have one of the best RR's you can get. They call it the heart breaker because it is so accurate and cannot be fudged like other RR's with crazy % losses from the wheels to the flywheel but the best way to quote bhp is by using the whp.

They where saying we need 12 cars which is easily achivable, because their is 3 so far with me, Dermo156 Ti and Techie.

Please add your name to the list if you are coming and a date that ye feel happy with.

Re: Rolling road day

One thing I just remembered there make sure your car is serviced before you go on the RR and that all the belts etc are in good order.
