Madness Christams lights

right, i get advised to shower not bath buy energy saving light bulbs not to fill the kettle to the top turn my heating down by 1degree turn the sky+ off at night start to recycle more turn the light off when i leave the room and buy a car with low co2 emissions. why all to save energy and lower my carbon footprint.

so why the **** are people allowed to plaster their houses with UNNECESSARY lighting using a ridiculous amount of energy all because its christmas?!

a bit of a contradiction dont you think

Nobody is telling you to do anything. The things you list out are suggestions you can take or leave, as you wish.

I'm not a fan of chav-palace lighting myself, but I guess it's a matter for them and their utility company, as is your policy on turning lights off and so on.
