Not Happy Guess the idiot!

Here's a Wednesday morning quiz.

This morning, I was driving along the A1079 to work as usual. I was on a 50mph stretch past my village, catching up to the line of traffic ahead, with nothing behind me for a few hundred yards.

I saw a silver car waiting at a side road on my right and thought there was no way he would try and pull out, especially as the road was clear behind me. He had different ideas though and just came out. I had to literally stand on the brakes and swerve to the right to avoid removing his offside rear wing.

Feeling slightly miffed, I gave him the obligatory headlight flash and he replied with a cheery wave using only one finger and pulled away. I returned the hand signal with one of my own and he just stopped in the road. Bad enough as traffic had now caught me up and was queuing, but then he actually started reversing toward me! Unbelievable.

Luckily, nothing was coming the other way, so I just drove round him before he could ram me or box me in and drove off.

Anyone care to guess the make and model of this miscreant? Clue - it's not at all difficult.

Bosch Washing Machine, on four wheels? Bet it was from that geographical area. Should only let the Germans buy and drive German cars!:

Re: Guess the idiot!

It's gotta be one of my pet peeves...driving along, with a clear road behind you, and someone pulls in ahead of you, usually leaving little room to avoid them (and then usually dawdle along as well.) Then they get indignant when you express your displeasure ! Beginning to think my cars have an invisibility cloak about them, the number of times this has happened recently.

Re: Guess the idiot!

I had a golf TDI do this the other on Monday morning. I literally had to stand on my brakes. I flashed and beeped. Only for him to continue driving whilst turning round to me giving various gestures. Then he had to turn right. I then hear "you fat c**t"... I couldn't help but laugh!! That annoyed him even more... asshat.

And we know from the Ace Cafe photo that you're not fat, OA, it was just all the stuff in your pockets!

Bloke in an Audi (German theme?) did this to me a couple of weeks ago.

BMW should read DKP, Der Kleiner Panzer or The little Panzer, because theyr'e favored by little Hitler's who think they can drive through any obstacle.
I hate them as much as 4x4's.

Wouldn't be 7.. that's for certain. They are just cruise cars.. I rarely see one of them misbehaving to be honest.

Indeed it was. Full House to Nomad.

I think it's a shame Beemers so often seem to be driven by ar5es. I mean they are fine pieces of engineering (even if they look like they were styled by Stevie Wonder) but they are so often driven aggressively and inconsiderately. I wonder why owning a particular brand seems to make people into pratts.

One of life's great imponderables I guess...

Re: Guess the idiot!

People buy them because they think they're an exclusive car, and therefore above everyone else. However, most people fail to realise that the 3 series is now more popular than a Mondeo, so it doesn't make them exclusive it makes them a sheep. Plus, the new Mondeos are better cars as well as being considerably cheaper.

Idiots only buy them to bask in the warmth of the M series cars - how many 318's do you see with M badges on

Actually I was going to ventured that it was a Vauxhall.
Perhaps the miscreant's dress code should be given as an additional clue.
Generalising frantically: business attire = BMW/Audi/Merc driving
******.
Beany hat, baseball cap (reversed) T shirt, tattoos etc = Vauxhall

Re: Guess the idiot!

Uncoordinated, worn, generally knackered old rags that make the wearer look like they've been found living at the bottom of the bargain bin in an Oxfam shop = Fiat driver.

Well, it's how I look anyway.
