TUT BBC World's Top Gear

Well, I was really looking forward to seeing Top Gear now that BBC World has started showing it and guess what. I tune in as scheduled on Saturday evening at 10.30pm and they only air one skit from the show (the rocket thingy) and none of the rest

That's just not on!

I guess I should have read this before getting my hopes up

Go to FinalGear.com :: There's Fifth Gear, There's Top Gear, And Then There Is Final Gear where they have torrents of all the shows.

Thanks, but I don't like to fiddle with those programmes (fear spyware and the lot).

Re: BBC World's Top Gear

I just use the WWW to find the latest episode

Recently they tested another Holden rebadged as a Vauxall and said it was slow....yes the 5 seater family car was as slow as a Porche around the track!

YouTube usually has some clips but not the whole episode.

I guess, being BBCWorld, they think it's a bit too 'hardcore' to show a whole hour of a slightly bonkers British motoring show, and they therefore show selected bits. Do they normally show whole eps BF?

Oops, and I should have read your post, doh!

I guess that's what it is though, they like to show nice neat little 30min programmes because tired executives in hotel rooms across the World need gentle tittilation in easily assimilated bite-sized chunks.

Re: BBC World's Top Gear

BF, worst case scenario (if you genuinely don't want to download the episode) I can burn it to DVD and mail it to you (as long as you let me have a go in your Maser )

Sadly though, only the other day I deleted all the present series from my Sky+, although I am watching the Veyron v Plane race on Dave as we speak

You think you've got it bad. I sat down at 8pm on Sunday as usual to find there was no Top Gear because of snooker! I mean, why does snooker get precedence over TG? Can someone explain?
