****** in an Audi

Today at lunchtime I was joining the A483. The slip road is a dual carriage way.

Cars on the insidelane were moving slowly because of a lorry at the head of the que, so I moved to the overtaking lane to get past them.

The w4nker in the Audi in front of me obviously took this as an insult to his manhood, and drove with one wheel in the overtaking lane in an attempt to prevent me from getting past

I ignore him and overtook him anyway which of course was followed by flashing of lights and sounding of horns

Honest, what is it with people, the slip road is a DUAL CARRIAGE WAY, and the speed limit is 70mph not the 35mph the Audi was doing. If he didn't want to overtake the lorry then so be it, but that doesn't mean that everyone else has to drive around like a lobtomised baboon

In every step, I hear your sobbing
Dare I break the shade with one caress
Dare I trespass to lift the veil
To touch the lips so soft and frail

It may be that love comes once and once only, preceded by rehersal, followed by regret.

Know well that however right a man may be they always find the fallen one guilty.

All that is required for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing

Re: ****** in an Audi

I have to say that Audi drivers (on average) do get nearly as annoyed as BMW drivers when I overtake them. Only the BMW's have to prove a point. ( I love pishing off 318s and 320's)

Re: ****** in an Audi

The most consistantly worst drivers I have found are:

Passat drivers.

It almost as if they think they have something to prove - it not being an Audi/BMW etc.

If you don't agree - make a mental note for next time you see one (there's plenty ).

You'll find it's speeding and/or tailgating and/or aggressive and/or generally badly driven.

(I'm sure there are some good ones as well - obviously, just the same as some Volvo drivers aren't asleep).

Re: ****** in an Audi

Until recently i was doing 80 miles a day (m25, m11, north circ) and consistantly had problems with BMW / Sales rep type cars.

I have just changed jobs and now do 3 miles a day!!

Hence selling my Audi A3 tdi, putting half the money in the bank and spending the other half on a spanking pristine GTV!!

I am a much happier motorist in all respects.

Re: ****** in an Audi

The problem is they see an Alfa looming up behind them and they immediately feel inadequate and threatened by a superior lifeform, so they behave like the neanderthol rockape's that they are.
NO SLUR OR INSULT WAS MEAN'T TO ANYONE WHO IS A ROCK APE OR NEANDERTHOL IN THIS MESSAGE.

I agree that Audi is now the BMW for bland people (excluding the R8).

They seem to think that just becuase they own a German car they own the road

Re: ****** in an Audi

I saw a lorry doing this the other day. It would be better if everyone used both lanes and merged in turn. Which is what everyone was doing until it came to him driving between the two lanes so no one could pass him.

Yes - fill up both lanes coming to a queue and 'zipper'. Fairest way of all.
