Last 60,000 or so they say! Should never need replacing at that price,IMO.

They are consumable and have a tough job to do.

Cheaper than a set of brake pads or tyres or discs.

You can get hold of the pukka plugs for about half the price an Alfa garage will charge you. That softens the blow a bit! A full set of the 8 plugs for a twinny can be had for about £65 I think. Not bad for 60,000 miles service, eh?

...well if £65 spread over 60,000 miles for new plugs is p*ssing you off now, I hate to think what other future 'happy events' with your 156 will leave you feeling like . How are your suspension bushes?

cheaper ones are available, its just that they will not last as long, like a traditional plug, and your car will not run right. So there is a choice
