We have a DB9 here in our car park with one of our 'new arrivals' and one of the actors is taking delivery of his new Maserati Quattroporte next March
. One of the others has a classic car thing and regularly appears in a Triumph Stag and an old Roller. I, of course, earn peanuts
. Still, Claudia gives them all a run for their money when she's just had a wash & wax!
Welcome to Tokyo! Truly it is the land of exotica and a tough place to compete with the Jones. I am a lowly university professor and even in my old uni's parking lot there were at least 10 BMWs (including two M3s) a handful of Mercedes, and even one Ferrari. Mine was the only Alfa and I was proud of that fact.
At my new uni (started in April), there are about 5 BMWs (Z4s and 5 series mostly), and to my great satisfaction, three other Alfas (though mine was the only GTA).
When I was shopping for my Alpina a few weeks ago, I went to a dealer near my house that had the following 9 cars in the showroom - an Enzo and an F40 right next to each other, three pimped out Bentleys, two Lamborginis, a DB9 and two F430 cabriolets!
Here is an interesting tidbit - in the garage of Roppongi Hills, THE place to live in Tokyo, more than 80% of the cars are.... get this...
I don't even think Saudi parking lots could top that!
NOTE: Sorry V02Max - I thought this was a post from Bigfoot about the Tokyo parking lot where he worked!
