Not Happy And the school run does it again!

Ok, I am now in charge of part of the school run and somehow can't get myself to drive properly

A few days ago I kerbed one of the Muranos' alloys and today, whilst getting out of the car park, I hit a pole and scraped the side of the car leaving a mark resembling somewhat a key mark

Why can't I just do it properly????

Big foot you need to think like a woman when doing the school run, try putting your brain in back to front then you will see it from a womans perspective

I'll give that a try but with that and moobs, you know, it may become a dangerous strategy ...

Yes

I used to get in to work before 8am but now struggle to get in at 8.45am. Today I had to do the full school run, getting me into work at 9.20am or so, and now I will have an expensive bill to show for it.

What a m0r0n

Yup hopefully that's your 3 now Biggster !!

How come doing the school run makes so so much later for work now... just the volume of traffic

Re: And the school run does it again!

Traffic is not helping but it's because the oldest doesn't get into school till about half eight. Thankfully the school is near work, so within 15 minutes I can usually make my way into work.

Don't have any, he's too young

I really just need to be a bit more careful. I just hate driving in this megalopolis!

Re: And the school run does it again!

Met my mate with his 40 tonner, in a transport cafe the other day, just for a natter about old times. He was a 65 ton Conqueror driver, aamongst other cabbies he had in the past. We had both been in the same traffic jam, on the M1 caused by what appeared to be a foreign big truck shoving a couple of cars down the bank.:

Anyway, me'mate is the same age as myself, but I'm blowed if I could wheedle a rig the size of his into the spaces in those transport cafes.

He was, and still is I guess, a born driver, but best of all, a lifetime mate.:

He reckons that he gets pulled into lay-byes less frequently now, for checks, as the concentration seems to be on foreign hauliers, keeps him a bit happier. Never could drive like him, a natural.:

Breathe deeply

Calm down

If you're in the Murano why not just drive over the pavement

4x4 on a school run ! Not just our country then ?

Stainless steel bumpers and bull bars are a good answer !
