Glad you edited yourself

Do you use Irfanview to resize? It's a free download.

Frustrating though.

Re: Uploading Pics (MAD) (RANT)

Perhaps just use www.photobucket.com? Its a free picture hosting service.
And simply link to your pics from here.

Photobucket will resize them easily but also you can instead post links to higher res ones.

Downside is that only in the image lounge will they be automatically displayed as pictures as opposed to having to click on them.

The reason that pic size is limitted in AO is becasue they have to pay for storage to host this stuff.

Personally I find external stuff much more convenient since it lets you have your own albums etc, and I really couldn't be arsed duplicating stuff on different sites, or for family usage etc.

Cheers,
TB

I use a program called J peg sizer. Re sizes your chosen pics to whatever you need and puts them in a new folder ready to upload.
Doesn't photobucket just put a link into the post?

Sounds good. Where did you get that from (please share)

Photobucket gives an img code especially for sites such as forums

JpegSizer is probably no better than the programmes you guys use but it is a simple one to use which suits me fine.
