Sky. Minirant. F1/Rugby.

As much a plea for help as a rant but it seems that my interests in F1, Rugby and NFL have culminated in one weekend of sport that will require tremendous determination to get through without suitable quantities of munchies till I explode. Inevitably there is a clash - it seems that as I live in Wales Mr Sky will not let me watch F1 live on Sunday. Seems I have watch Wales in the Word Cup instead which is not necessarily a bad thing but there is no delayed/second viewing of the full race on ITV.

Wow - big link

Anyone know a way round this ? Is there any way I can manually enter one of the other ITV regions in to my Sky + so I can watch it live ??

Cheers

Try ITV1 London on Sky Channel 993.

Re: Sky. Minirant. F1/Rugby.

You can access all ITV/BBC regions from the main
channel listing menus.

You "Main" channels are decided by the Postcode that the
Skycard is registered to.

(In fact you don't even need a Skybox to watch these.
Any DVB-S Sat reciever can pick them up.)

Both the F1 and the Rugger will be on uknova.com for download by the end of the day from someones Sky+/ DVD recorder.

Download, burn to DVD and keep for ever.

You'd be surprised what people will download:

There are 2 people currently downloading last night's Ready Steady Cook
78 people have downloaded the last episode of Supernanny
13 people have downloaded Loose Women
Newsnight - 7 people
Holby City - 57 downloads

If Canada stuff the Welsh, it's worth recording and mounting on the wall...

Re: Sky. Minirant. F1/Rugby.

Canada stuff the Welsh ... we might not be very good but c'mon now. It might happen at ice hockey, but rugby?

Seems as ITV Wales thinks rugby is more important than the F1 I have to decide between Mountain bike world cup downhill racing from Fort William on BBC, Rugby world cup on ITV.

Ok, not much of a dilema, biking it is. Can't see Wales v Canada being an all-time classic.
