Madness Thank you, you bistard!

... To the donkey who stool the left plastic thing from my front bumper.

You see, not all people who has an Alfa (only someone how has one could want this) is an Alfisti. Some are simply thiefs. Bistard!

It's the number 4.

Re: Thank you, you bistard!

Are you certain it was stolen HugEo?
I can't see that it would have been an easy part to remove, that's all.

Bugger.
Still, can't be an expensive part, though (which is why I thought it odd to be stolen in the first place).

Chin up old boy.

Re: Thank you, you bistard!

I went for a meal once in Stoke Newington (by coach) for an office meal and a chap who we met down there had seen some kids nicking window screen wiper blades of parked cars!!!

Re: Thank you, you bistard!

Thank you, chaps! I feel much better with your kind words.

It costs about 30€, still, it's the attitude of some people that buggers me. We work 11 months per year, have a salary, do our best... when some parasites do this kind of things.

Anyway, went out with wife, had an Italian dinner. And I'm now ready for an ice cream.

Tomorrow I'm going to visit my dealership ans see when I can get the part.

Thanks again. You're the best!

Re: Thank you, you bistard!

Then you have to have it painted.. it's all blinkin' frustrating. See if you spot a '47 with the wrong-coloured insert. You'll know who took it.

Nothing like that happened to me (apart from the odd tyre valve cap going AWOL) but a fox ate my car once.. that was quite annoying too!

Re: Thank you, you bistard!

This sucks big time! I hate thieves... I suppose that's a given though.

Do you have to get it painted mate or are your bumper strips black? Mine are black so not too bad if they get nicked, still a bugger though.

Also, have yours got washer jets on or not? Mine have, so that might make them harder to steal perhaps???

We had a visiting fox once.. kept leaving poo on the doormat, so we put some of that cat-repellant gel all round the porch.

That seemed to make it go further up the drive... to where my car was parked.

Basil must have fancied a night on the sauce one evening.. (or it liked the smell of my screen washer) as it ate it's way through both of the headlamp washers to get at the alcohol. I can understand that..

I thought someone had nudged me while parked.. but I always park nose to a wall at work.. and there were teeth marks all over what was left of the sprinklers.

New washer jet sprinklers cost 30 each, so I was less amused later on... but changing washer fluid brands seems to have saved a repeat.

And Basil has started dumping on the door mat again...

Re: Thank you, you bistard!

Super glue on the prongs, shouldn't have to though, and then they would probably just snap the thing anyway.: Number plate screw slots I have filled with that 2part metallic epoxy adhesive, don't know how effective or worthwhile this is though?: Scavenging Pillocks, who need time in the stocks, to be publicly humiliated, and identified! No Human Rights for these creatures we have sneaking around our property.:

Re: Thank you, you bistard!

Cheers guys!

I'm back from 1400kms trip around Portugal. Before I leaving, last Saturday night, I got the missing part from my dealer. It's not on its place.

Re: Thank you, you bistard!

Bad news followed by good news, Hugo. At least it was an easy and inexpensive fix although that doesn't condone the selfish **** that nicked the part.

On a positive note - hope you enjoyed your ice cream and trip round Portugal.
