ebay misinformation rant GRRRRRRR

AHHHH - got my 56 last week so first place i visited was ebay to try and get some brochures so i could work out spec etc

Won some brochures and they turned up today

GREAT - well it would be great if they weren't in bloody Italian !!!!!!!!!

Not a mention on the auction that they were Italian brochures and the implication was they were brit brochures

Should i send em back or does anyone off here want them ?

(oh they are 156 Swagon brochures btw)

Dave, I have been following your threads mate and your luck stinks, lol

I would send them back and get a full refund mate as the guy is obviously taking the Michael here.

Good luck bud,
Darren

Re: ebay misinformation rant GRRRRRRR

My sympathies.

Unless the seller is very understanding and genuinely forgot to mention it, I'd be surprised if he didn't say something along the lines of "You should have asked before bidding".

What then? Bad feedback will doubtless go both ways, unless you've already had yours when you paid.

Re: ebay misinformation rant GRRRRRRR

dont think anyone, especially a private seller would leave feedback on payment.. most of times is an auto-generated msg which is only sent when the feedback is positive.. i suggest you email him saying what u told us and insist to pay you some postage charges if you decide to post the brochures back..

or you could start some Italian lessons :P

Scan with OCR, cut and paste then:-

It will be in laughable English but understandable.

Re: ebay misinformation rant GRRRRRRR

Ebay is full of ******s like that. I recently bought a Owner's manual for my bro' in Australia. He has a Fiat 132 (antique thing) and the owner's manual was described as "New".

Cool, I thought... but when it arrived it was rather manky and secondhand.

The fella had the arse when I gave him negative feedback .. even gave me negative feedback back because I "expected a 20 year old manual to be new".

Obviously one of us didn't quite "get it"... but I counter-replied saying he was a "Stupid C***" and eBay mod's wiped out both sets of negative feedback.

Woooo - a result !!!

"Hello, I am very sorry, I must admit that I did not look at the inside pages. I am actually selling these for a friend who hasn,t got a computer yet, and I assumed he had checked them. I will refund your payment, don,t bother to return them. Sorry once again.
"

Nice to see there are some good ebayers around
