Madness Carpet right = carpet wrong

Never buy carpet off these ******s

We had paint spilled over our hall / stairs & landing in late April, involved the insurers and they directed us to their prefered suplier.

On top of the £400 from the insurers, we paid £1200 to get the rest of the house done the same. We did this on the 19th May in order to guarentee fitment today and tomorrow. You can guess the rest but it may get done on Thursday.

It's been a logistical nightmare to organise hence the long run in period. I still can't do any physical (lifting is out of the question) so the family are up from Wales.

We've tried to tell them to stuff the carpet as they are in breech of their written contract but they've said no.

All this hassle

Don't buy from them

Re: Carpet right = carpet wrong

Had exactly the same problem here in Barnstaple so it's a nationwide thing. I told them where to stick their carpet (sideways) aswell and they did give me my money back.

Have another go at them and maybe contact the C.A.B to see where you stand.

And to everyone else as SR says, they are ******s and don't buy from them.

Oh and before i go, how come they've always got a chuffing sale on. Just stick a price on the fecking carpet. were not that stupid to think 'oh look 50% off, what a bargain'...........******s

a bit late now, but try your local independant, mine was great, had a tight schedule with the completion of my place, he got in, measured and ordered direct with the factory, had it in on time and price was good too.

Must admit, I've used carpet right for 2 jobs and they were pretty good on both occasions.
