Dog (I think!) s**t on the pavement

Not something I've come across where I live but been visiting a friend where a simple walk down a pavement is like running the dog s**t gauntlet! I've owned dogs in the past & allways carried nappy bags to pick up afte my dog. I don't really get it - these people must be fairly local and they are quite literally Shi***ng on their own door step (or their dogs are!). Are these the same people who scatch cars/dent doors in supermarkets? If they don't give a s**t (no pun intended) for their own stuff / environment they probably don't give a second thought about damaging other peoples stuff.

Just call me Victor Meldrew.

Do what a mate of mine's flatmat did in Manchester.

Wait for them with an old pair of boots on.
Confront them, then as they walk away
dismissively, step in the ***** and use your boot
to smear it up the back of their dress/jeans.

They ****ing hate it.

Bit like rubbing their nose in it.

A colleague always recounts with glee his stories of leaving 'Bags on fire' people's front doorsteps!

Horses normally ***** in the road. And it's fairly innocuous stuff.
(Use it on the roses!)

Dog *****, on the other hand, is toxic and disease ridden.
(Kid can go blind from it.)

Townies + dog + no garden = dirty fvcking mess. IMHO.

Still don't like it. The police do horse patrols round here in Middlesbrough, where cars are parked both sides of the street, the next day you are often forced to put one wheel through it and it throws it all up in the inside of your wheel arch and gets in the tyre treads, it really pi$$es me off. I'm thankful for the police presence, but the area is not made for horses.

The way to stop Dogs s:swear:ing on the path outside your house/garage etc. is to put a Jeyes Fluid solution in a watering can fitted with a rose and cover the areas you want them to stay away from !! Works a treat as they can't stand the smell !!

Obviously after it's rained you'll need to reapply the soultion !!

Or camoflauge yourself and stand guard with a .22 air rifle

::EDIT::

For the owner's, I mean

Can't punish a dog for a natural bodily function

You can always collect the dog muck with a plastic bag and follow the owner home. Then when you get there deposit it through their letterbox.

Re: Dog (I think!) s**t on the pavement

Don't get me started on the neighbours dogs using our garden as a toilet, if I was 100% sure which :ieh:ing dog was doing it would go back through the owners letterbox (it could possibly be a fox).

We got some stuff from a DIY shop which seems to keep them away, but will try Jeyes fluid as mentioned by Mr Nomes,

I just need something to stop the :ieh:ers barking at night now.

Re: Dog (I think!) s**t on the pavement

Don't use the Jeyes Fluid on your garden M though eh !!

Just around the perimeter on your paths should do the trick !!

When I lived in a Terraced house the service road to the rear was affectionally known as 'Dog **** Alley' but a regular Jeyes Fluid application kept the area around my garage a 'Dog Biscuit' free zone !!

I recommend the local Council Environmental Health Dept. for the noise problem !!

That's a good point. If its not from a dog would anyone like to speculate what it could be from, and how it got there

tried that, it worked for a few months, it's not as bad now as it used to be, but still annoying at 3 in the morning. Any permanent solutions I can think of are a bit on the cruel side.
