I am a huge fan of Siobhan Donaghy (The red haired gilr who used to be in the Sugababes when they first became big) And have been waiting months for her new Album. I pre ordered from Amazon three months ago.... it arrived this morning.
Put it on on the way to worked, turned the Bosé speakers up high.... only to hear Music to Watch Gilrs By....
Parlophone had printed a CD from 'The Easy Listening Box Set' onto a CD fully printed and labelled for Siobhan Donaghy... and indeed, inserted into an appropriately labelled case.
What **** up could cause that!? I've since downloaded it instead from iTunes, and yes, its great.... but at this delicate time when CD's are under threat could posess a company to have this lapse of quality control!?
And also I feel for Siobhan Donaghy. She is imensley talented, yet has had no mainstream success, has already been dropped by one major record label (who gave her little to no publicity despite being supremely talented and having a critically aclaimed album...) and now has been horribly (albeit unintentionally) undermined by her new label.
