Madness Fecking Cars Parks

Went to M&S in Kew tonight as normal and - as normal - I parked well away from all the other cars in the car park !!

That's safe from dings, dents, scrapes and numpties I thought !!

When I came back out of the store approx. 5 or 6 minutes later and went back to my Bella what did I see.......

....a ******* stupid ***** Vauxhall Zafira parked right next to her !!

As I approached I could not only see that pile of ******* scrap was parked next to me...... it was so ******* close that I couldn't actually get between the two cars let alone get to the door to open it and get in !!

There was a young boy (I guess 11 or 12 years old) sat in the back of the Vauxhall so I went round to the other side and tapped on the window and asked who was driving him about "My Mum" he replied He told me she was in M&S when I asked where she was !!

So I went back round and got in through the passenger door and moved my beast back to check it over !!

No damage thank **** !!

I did consider hanging around to confront the ******* stupid ***** but - as there was no damage - decided it was better not to get into trouble for verbally abusing her !!

I'm guessing that given the closeness of the bag o ***** it was really lucky that I didn't return to a dented, scraped and scratched car !!

Why the **** do people have to park right on top of you in a car park that's relatively empty and when you are parked in an out of the way location

Neer' mind Mr. Nomes. No damage, thats the main thing. I put rubbing strakes on her 147, and nobody, not even the agents, have said they look out of place, so far.

Re: Fecking Cars Parks

Got it when I worked for a former boss, mate. He let me 'fiddle' with his Broom Seamaster, twin Volvo Penta, 365 M Diesel engines, I think it had?

Had to sort the rubbing strakes, on the Del-Quay Dory?, that was on the davits, and the Shakespeare? cathedral hulled run-about, that got scuffed periodically.

Bit of a Jack - of -all- trades, in those days, good fun though, got around a bit. Back on topic, suppose they are body protectors on cars, or something?

Re: Fecking Cars Parks

Sorry about that DX chick. He had this ocean going cruiser, that I did a bit of maintenance on, periodically. Plus the small ship to shore 'wee' taxi boats, as well. Davits, the curved lifting arms at the rear of the main vessel, the Dory was suspended from. Bet you knew this, and were just winding me up?

Lol.... I dont think so.

I always park well away from others as my Rosso Red is liable to come off with the slightest knock.

Re: Fecking Cars Parks

She was probably trying to park as close to the door of M&S as possible, such was the quality of her driving. Think yourself lucky she wasnt driving a Chelsea Tractor. You'd have probably found the Brera under it

Trust you feel better now you have all this sympathy

it's the same at the cinema, you can be sat in an empty cinema but guarantee the next person to walk in will ignore the 300 other seats and come and sit next to you with his big cardboard plate of nachos that smell like athlete's foot

Re: Fecking Cars Parks

even my 147, seems to attract 'little friends' when it's left on it's own at the far end of the car park,

I've started to think it might be an anti-theft measure,
i.e. 'if I leave my crap car beside that gorgeous Alfa, any thieves about will go for the Alfa'

I hear you, Nomes - I live in constant fear, every time I use a car park, that I will return to find the same carnage I found the last time I parked the 156 at Sainsburys

I've noticed this too! It drives me mad- last time me and the wife went shopping I parked well away from the shop in an empty area of the car park- came back to find some stupid cow parking right alongside the driver's side!! I pointed it out to my wife, but she just said "stop being so anal about your bloody car!" (mind, she also says that when I wave to other Alfas)

Re: Fecking Cars Parks

I just witness some bint from Grenoble
open her tatty green Punto by kicking
the door so hard (from the inside) she
completely stove in the adjacent car's
door and couldn't get her door off the
other car.

Her boyfriend/husband/lickspittle wasn't
phased in the slightest!

Number noted, but the other car'd
gone when I'd finished me shopping
