Drivers sitting in odd positions

Not so much a rant, more a WTF!?

When following cars, I've noticed increasing numbers of drivers sitting toward the middle of the car - either leaning that way or sitting towards the middle. Why? How can they drive like that?

Can anyone explain? Are they alleviating pain on their Farmer Giles or what?

As for people who lean when they go round bends...

Re: Drivers sitting in odd positions

also I am amused when you see a driver so laid back that he surely can't be in control of the car! Seat way back, just about see his head past the door pillar. Each to their own though.

Maybe they're trying to let one rip! You didn't happen to see a GTV Cup did you as that would confirm my theory?

Re: Drivers sitting in odd positions

could it be conceivable that they are leaning on the arm rest between the centre seats?

Re: Drivers sitting in odd positions

i must confess, I have caught myself leaning toward the middle. The Polo being an auto sort of compounds it. But the reason is because the Clio has fubared my back that it's all twisted. I've noticed that when I lie in the bath, I don't lie perfectly straight anymore (yes, yes, I know what joke you're making) but my whole body seems to creep to the left.

Dude, get yourself off to the doctors.
That's called scoliosis and can start to have all
sorts of painful outcomes if you don't get it seen to.
I've developed if over the last 18month.
Mainly it's lack of exercise. sitting at a terminal and carrying
a laptop briefcase.
