Not Happy B*stards who key cars.

Was at Football this morning, thankfully it wasn't in my car, but in the car park at the park some ****er ran a key all along my girlfriends Skoda's side and boot.

Why do people do this!? I know A Skoda Felicia Estate is hardly the best car, but it was still her pride and joy!! Her first car defaced by some ****ing stupid harsh ignorant *******s...

Re: B*stards who key cars.

Sorry to hear that Colin. Your girlfriend is the latest to suffer in a recent spate of this kind of thing going on, judging by recent threads. Its a shame. Hope the scratches won't be too expensive to repair. I've heard a few people on here recommend chips away - they apparently do an excellent job and their prices are reasonable.

Really sorry for your girlfriend Colin. Some people's actions just defy belief - regardless of make and model of the car what goes through their minds to prompt them to this sort of activity? Hope you get it fixed up without too much pain.

Re: B*stards who key cars.

Easily a hanging offence in my book. Funny thing is I'd rather someone broke into my car and at least gained something for their next drug fix (e.g. car stereo) than just mindlessly dragged a key down my car

How deep are the scratches? If they are only in the clearcoat they might polish out.

Heres hoping!

Re: B*stards who key cars.

that really gets on my goat im not even kidding if i caught someone doing that to my car or even someone i didnt knows car id give them a very serious thrashing.

my friend lives in a street with alot of pubs along it and every single weekend his mirrors are kicked off, scraped paint from keys or dented panels from ppl walking over the cars or some kind of damage, he has completely given up on nice cars even though he was an enthusiast aswell, hes driving a £200 toyota corolla that hasnt been cleaned since he got, the mirrors are held on by duct tape, its covered in denstand scraped paintwork it and he parks it by running the rims into teh high kerb. completely broken spirited he has given up.

2.0 TS, custom hand stitched leather and alacantra interior, custom SS system, H+R suspension upgrade

Re: B*stards who key cars.

A little b*stard did mine on "mischievous night" in middlesbrough. When I was a kid, the most mischievous thing I did was flour bomb one of the school teachers front porch, but keying my car deep enough to get catch your fingernail (and not t-cut out) is not mischievous, its just plain nasty.

If I could get hold of him I'd 'key' his face with a stanley knife and see how he liked it

Some areas may polish out, but others are right through the paint and Primer.

This could start the whole thing rusting.. The Felicia was one of the last Skodas to not be properly galvanised.

Little ****ers.

Re: B*stards who key cars.

Sorry to hear about that, Colin.

I hope there isn't too much damage, and you manage to get it sorted out ok (and with minimal expense).

This sort of thing really, REALLY gets my goat

There's just no reason for it. How can someone be so malicious towards someone they don't even know?

I always like to think so, but I think I'm deluding myself

I think that's jealousy - the "if I can't have something nice like that, then no-one else is allowed to enjoy it" mentality

That is a great shame. That someone has now lost the opportunity to enjoy something (that wasn't harming anyone else), for the sake of mindless vandalism is nothing short of criminal.

Re: B*stards who key cars.

I remember reading in a magazine about a load of mindless hooligans breaking into a lock up in South Wales. The lock up contained someone's massive collection of beautiful vintage Jags. The ******s totally vandalised, destruction derbyed and generally ruined the whole lot. Complete idiots that deserve to be beaten with big iron bars. The insurance claim on this lot was into the millions I think.

Re: B*stards who key cars.

I'd assume they are almost completely male. Not many girls are mindless vandals, even the crackhead/prostitute combo's you get in Middlesbrough

I'd still give them the beating of their life if I got hold of them, male or female
