I agree ADF......yawning at someone is incredibly rude, and in so many ways.
The person is (although possibly unintentionally) forwarding body language that says they no interest in what you are saying, and as you mentioned, we really don't wish to see their great cakehole wide open!
It's possible to be discrete about a yawn.....there is NO NEED to share it with everyone.
These kind of people would think nothing of coughing in your face
Rude, ill mannered and completely unnecessary

I yawn when I end up in a CPD, it's not because im rude I just cant help it, I find sitting in a warm room relaxing aha.

I do try to cover it up by keeping my mouth closed etc..

I can't keep my mouth closed when yawning, so cover my mouth with my hand. If I am mid convo I apologise, excuse myself, and we carry on.

It's not about being sleepy, it's about oxygen

Whacking a stretch in with it is a bit naughty though, that's clearly bad body language
