Every Time I Open The Bonnet, Even To Carry Out The Most Menial Of Tasks

One of my neighbours pops up from nowhere and asks "is it broken again?"

On a slightly different note was polishing my car last night and 2 people passing by commented on how nice it looked, nobody ever comments when I clean my Laguna or my wifes C5.

Oh dont Nev reminds me of when my nabor (over the road still count as a nabor?) found a dead cat under the bonnet of her renault clio!! Not my cat, dont care for em at all personally but it was her next door nabors cat

Worst thing of all was when the nabor over the road said she could smell burnt animal/fur smell when she turnt the heaters on!!! Shouldn't laugh but Cat must of been there a couple of weeks easy.

Re: Every Time I Open The Bonnet, Even To Carry Out The Most Menial Of Tasks

I have had this from a neighbour who drives an Audi.

I said at least I don't have to take it to the garage to fix it.

I know damn well he has had trouble with his Audi as his son told me.

Ah yes, the "Is it broken" / "having problems" comedy question.

"No, just checking the Oil/Water..."

Neighbour goes to own car, chug chug chug, cough cough cough, it fires up eventually but runs on 3 cylinders.

I say, "having problems" answer "no, its always been like that"

"Surprised it still starts to be honest mate, my Alfa starts first time, everytime. Sounds like yours needs a service!"
