Re: Grrrrrrrrr ... Hungarian GP

It was a fabulous race of Massa from third to first overtaking both McLarens within seconds after the start. He really deserved to win this race.

Massa deserved to win, but it was still nice to see another first time winner.

Could not agree more.... He did everything right, but his engine didn't...

The only bright side is the Championship stays very close.

I enjoyed Damon Hill commentary as well.

as Nelson would say HA HA

i really enjoyed damon hills commentary, always nice to have someone who knows what they are talking about to counter the drivel spouted by the rest of them, who have to overhype everything

Was harsh on Massa, but was glad that things where a bit random. It does make it more interesting.

Re: Grrrrrrrrr ... Hungarian GP

No mention of poor Lewises bad luck.

I get the feeling that Ferrari turned up the engine management to gamble on matching the McLaren. That gamble failed. Not sure it was 100% bad luck.

I think lewis had good luck... That Massa's engine let go.

Punctures are one of those things

So's running an engine beyond its normal abilities for too long. All F1 engines have an ability to completly vary the power they produce and its a balancing act to get it so that you get the most power with the smallest chance of failing. If the team chose to run it high for low periods of the race to keep him ahead of Hamilton then its just ine of those things and happens a lot in the sport. They (might have) gambled and it (might have) failed.

He should get a compressor and tyre weld kit like I have in my GTV... then he wouldn't have lost time coming into the pit

I never thought of it that way. I guess its true that they could have done that.

The only concern to me, Lewis had his puncture with 27 laps to go, surely Ferrari would have turned Massa's engine down after that....?

Kimi is very disappointing at the moment. Does any one else think that the biggest threat to lewis might be himself?
