Do we have an ongoing stupid phrases situation here?

Just a Heads up chaps

Let me just ping you over this thought - where is this thread going??

We could take this to the next level - get this out there ??

What do people think ? is this a thread that can go forward to maximise its potential??

Is the OP thinking outside the box - does it have legs ??

Am I getting confused

Perhaps we could spin up some idea's if not perhaps we should look for an exit strategy

Chris you clearly need to take some time out, I can see your thinking is blue sky but your point needs to be ubiquitous if it's to be value adding to this thread.

Perhaps this thread should be changed to "talk like a business man who is clearly out of his depth but will use odd words as his life raft"

Does someone actually say that?

Just keep a box of the things on you,
when they do say it, throw a handful at them.

You really need to execute on this one!

Re: Stupid Phrases that business types insist on using

i'd like to replicate others' business model - we all need to get behind the 8 ball and sing from the same hymn sheet. otherwise i may have to downsize you all in order to grow the business going forward. maybe i'm just trying to have a mind-dump but we definitely need to get all our ducks in a row.

may we facilitate your purchasing system? ie. can we sell yer summat?

We've really got this brook babbling.

I used to say to a guy I worked with, 'as long as we're all w**king from the same jazz mag".

Re: Stupid Phrases that business types insist on using

I don't think you guys are being proactive enough, we need to square the circle here. Consult the knowledge base who have their finger on the pulse, look at the demographics, use our internal resources and make a pre-emptive strike.

Let's get back to basics with a thought shower, before putting this one to bed.

(I have had many a long, long meeting where nothing has actually been said, and no knowledge imparted. Completely pointless.)

Oh god yes.

There was one we used to play for a visiting company
that insisted on using "Under The Hood".

I now work for said company.
