Alfa Parts Fiasco

Had the Ti in Mangoletsi on Tuesday to look at the central locking on the rear passenger door- a faulty door lock was diagnosed and a new unit ordered.Rang up Moangos' this morning for an update on the ETA for the part and was told it would be AUGUST before the part arrived from Italy.Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

Re: Alfa Parts Fiasco

I needed a radiator hose that was on a 5 star once and it took a week to come through. They then sent the wrong hose, so the correct one was sent another week later.

Re: Alfa Parts Fiasco

I am having a similar issue with the paint protection film that covers the rear of the side skirt & towing eye cover Mine is all bubbled & brown and they can't even find the part number for it (not listed on eper). The dealers are trying their best (in most cases) but are being let down by AR, whether UK or Italy

Not good enough.

It doesn't matter how pretty the cars are, if the service is shoddy then people won't go back

can't they post it?

BTW Desira in Diss do an excellent postal service, not much good if you need to be in the dealer network, but for us DIY-ers, they are excellent.

Re: Alfa Parts Fiasco

I will agree about it being the best looking car on the road by far-the amount of strangers who come up to me to tell me so is amazing!.I just wish the after sales service was as good as the looks!.

Re: Alfa Parts Fiasco

You guys with problems are experiencing dealer apathy. They have a stock locator system which every dealer in the country has to update every 25 days. they should be looking at this first. Then they can raise the issue with the Parts team in Warrington who will do what they can to get the part. Don't just accept that the dealer puts it on back order ensure they chase it with Alfa Romeo.
