I filled the tank with £75, shocking, still when you get a 600-650 mile range its not so bad.

Put £30 in mine on Friday and it went to over half. It wasnt completely empty but the light was on. It will last me over a week easy if i'm careful, but my foot gets heavy when the sun shines and i'm in a good mood. Will have to wait and see.

guys, when Gordon Brown says he 'feels' for the motorist, what you need to know is that he is blind in one eye, and thus cannot and does not drive.

So, his understanding of petrol prices as I read recently, is based on the price of oil...and not on what it costs to fill - or own - a car.

Bunch of coc5 monkeys; all of them.

The price of fuel is the one thing that affects the economy most. By not doing anything or doing little he will make the whole economy suffer. Hand-Cranker.

Re: £40 in diesel went in the 156 this morning ...

I put £70 in to go up to Scotland on Wednesday and another £65 the day after when I got home. I nearly wet myself laughing when I heard Gordon Clown had gone up "to talk to oil producers with a view to increasing output so as to alleviate prices" WTF?

Brent crude tracks World oil and he conveniently overlooks the fact that most of our pump price is tax. Muppet.

Prudent? Don't make me laugh.....
