Checks for the MOT.....

.....I check all the families cars prior to the MOT.

I test all the lights, fluids, seat belts, tyres and their pressures. I clean the wipers with hot soapy water and a toothbrush, this breaths new life into them, both child seats are uncoupled from their seat belt so the belts can be checked, I remove anything that is in the drivers view like dangling air fresheners or teddy bears hanging from the mirror. I then wash the car.

This is a fair bit of my time invested the day before the test.

Last year, after all this preparation someone replaces the dangling bits on the mirror on the way to the test. We got an advisory.

This year someone replaced the child seats, never thought to ask why they’d been laid down on the rear seat, we got an advisory.

FFS.

What is all this advisory business ?....you English are strange......it's pass or fail with us N.Irish.

But then again you probably knew that with the DUP.

My dear departed mother may have been right...."same language, different breed"
