I parked my new Cortina 1600XL in Purple Haze out my flat in 1974 and some one keyed it all down the drivers side, so nothing changes really.

Re: Another Alfa vandalised

Well i've got two nice 12 inch long scratches on the bonnet of my GTV. Done about 2 months after i bought it. They're still there as well as i don't want to find out how much it's gonna cost. I know it'll be a full re-spray probably?
I'd just love to catch someone key-ing a car. That, would make my day.......

Re: Another Alfa vandalised

Someone put a fist-sized dent in my N/S front wing soon after i brought it home from the garage 2 months ago. Pretty sure its my obnoxious neighbour who thinks he's a hard guy. If i catch him touching either my car or my wifes we will find out!

Re: Another Alfa vandalised

Damn!!-had alook at the paint work this morning in the sun shine(it was drizzle and overcast yesterday) and have noticed a 1 inch by 1 and a half inch area where fine white dust has settled.Looks like body filler residue. If its in the clear coat it might just polish out but if its in the paint?.So its back to Mr Chipsaway tomorrow.More inconveinience.

Its back to the shop again a week tomorow for a third attempt to complete the job properly-this time he managed to get a piece of grit in the clear coat,it now looks like a small rust bubble underneath the paint.I paid £146-00 for this job and for that amount I expect a top class job-Im' not being unreasonable am I ?.

Just got my Brera back from the bodyshop after £600 worth of repairs to dents from inconsiderate [email protected] in car parks. Why cant people respect other people's property?

Re: Another Alfa vandalised

Couple of years ago went to a New Years Eve party round my mates and parked my new Gleaming 166 outside his house. Partied all night and got up about 11am. Went outside for a ciggie and noticed the sun wasn't gleaming off the side of my car any more.. Some little idiot had covered the side of my car in dirt. Thought nothing of it will wash off I thought. Got home and went at it with a hose and sponge. What did I find a scratch all the way from the bonnet to the boot on the drivers side. All the way down to the metal. Angry oh yes !!!!. Took it to local body shop who quotes over £1000 for respray etc. Insurance time !!!! only time I have claimed on the old insurance.

Re: Another Alfa vandalised

Just can't understand the motivation!!

When I'd had my Alfa just a couple of months I went out to find two scratches in the wing
It did force me to find someone that could repair it for a reasonible price, which really came in handy when I touched the door on a brick support (Damn underground parking)

Re: Another Alfa vandalised

I used chips away recently to repair a 7 inch keying that was done to my passenger side door. To be honest, I'm not happy with my repair either. In certain light and angles it is VERY noticeable. However, it was the most affordable option at the time (£175!!!), and admittedly does look better than the key scratch, but I feel my bella just deosnt look the same.

Re: Another Alfa vandalised

Only had my Bella for 2 weeks now. Got back from Sainsburys last weekend and found a dent on my drivers door right on the contour. Thing is I was in such a rush to get home I didn't notice it at the car park but my next door neighbour did. She also works there so she went in and had a look at the CCTV and saw a big 4X4 park next to mine about 10 mins after I got there. She said that the number plate is not readable but she saw a little kid open the door and it slammed into my lovely Bella. He looked at the scratch and told his mum. Who promptly got back in her 4X4 and moved to another parking place. ***** !!!!!! No luck on reading the Reg plate.... but thats no help to me.... Any good dent fixers in the Beds/Herts area that anyone can recommend ????

I have no bloody luck with dents and scratches me..........

Unbelievable! What a *****! I would go mental if I found out someone had done that.

Annoying that you can't read the reg on the CCTV, what's the point of the CCTV then?
