as someone who has had to deliver for a dotcom shop once or twice, I have a couple of experiences to share
* I had to deliver into a block of presigeous flat in the centre of Brum (don't laugh, they do exist
) and it took over 40 mins to get access to the CCTV contolled car park, then find the correct stair well to find the concierge, take 10 green trays of stuff up in the lift, walk across a courtyard and then up two flights of stairs. No wonder they had it delivered.
Second I had had to deliver a laptop, already hours late a a van had broken down, went to customer address, she had put down her work address even though it was a Sunday, so I agreed to to deliver to her home address 5 mines away and she did nothing but grizzle, even though if she had put her correct address in it would have been on time.
I later found out she claimed she had not received her laptop at all and had Head office on the phone two days later trying to find where it had gone.
Not a job I would wish to do often.
There is this assumption that if you throw a bit of money at someone they will do a task you don't like with perfection 100% every time, if you cannot accept that things may go wrong from time to time, it''s time to DIY, after all why else are the most satisfied Alfa owners the one that do it themsleves.
Sure Acado may be better, but what a price you have to pay.
