Stolen Silver GT - Keep a Lookout Please

Got home late last night after a nice day out with the family to discover some bunch of f**wits broke into the house, IN BROAD FRIGGING DAYLIGHT, took the keys and stole my beautiful bella straight off my driveway

The car was stolen from Clacton-on-Sea in Essex, at we think approx 3-4 PM on Saturday, but by the time we had found it had gone some 8 hours later it could be anyware in the country.

So if you happen to see a very clean Sterling Grey (Silver) GT with red leather interior & 17" multispokes (I've not seen too many in this combo so must be fairly rare) that you haven't noticed before and looks sus please let me know.

The car is (or was) on a 55 plate with the flat type wipers, oiginal and immaculate, so not too many distinguishing features, but if anyone out there gets close enough to one, it has just suffered a 5p size stonechip right in the centre of the windscreen and a Dension type i-pod active cradle mounted on the centre consul between the front seats.

Many Thanks, I'm off to cry again,

Re: Stolen Silver GT - Keep a Lookout Please

Thanks guys, really appreciate the feed-back

To be honest the Police have already told me we are unlikely to see her again (in one piece anyway), but you never know.

The worst part though is my 10 year old lad is worrying himself sick in case the thieving b*astards come back again

Car key burglaries are very popular around here. We keep the house like fort Knox and the keys upstairs. Dog is a really light sleeper too

Bad news mate, you have my sympathy. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Is this on Pistonheads yet? Someone should put it on there as well as it is a massively popular forum and has helped locate a few stolen cars in the past..

Re: Stolen Silver GT - Keep a Lookout Please

I had the same issue with my Merc C Class a few years ago. I used to plonk the keys just inside the door on a shelf... the car thiefs pushed opened the letterbox and used wire to reach for the keys and hook them out.. Car was never seen again..

Now keys are kept upstairs

Thats why burglary and car theft should be considerd a serious crime, yes its just a possession but the fall out from it is fear, particularly when your young. stolen to order i'd imagine a car like that........... i don't give a fig about their background, their tough life blah blah blah..i'd shoot fookers like that. theiving tunt's.

Re: Stolen Silver GT - Keep a Lookout Please

Bad news especially as it's upset your youngster.: They cruise around looking for them on drives, it's their sort of showroom, bit of observing, then in sharp, keys and away! Some market in ? will have it displayed in a couple of weeks. Son-in-Law, had his burgundy Merc lifted, but still displays his motors, drivewise, in spite of having a lockable garage?

Re: Stolen Silver GT - Keep a Lookout Please

Cody,

I was just wondering how you were making out with finding your car. Any news yet, or have the powers that be (police, insurance officials) given up hope?

I know it has been a while, but it is still worth getting in touch with one of the moderators and asking them to place a stolen car sticky on top the General Alfa Discussion Lounge.

Police snipers in the helicopters.

As soon as they find a stolen car, shoot the miserable muddy funsters.

They might think twice about nicking someones pride and joy then.

Hang on a minute, what am I talking about, that would clearly be against their human rights........

Erm, I'm pretty sure that summary execution without trial for theft would be against ANYONE'S idead of human rights, even in Syria!

As far as I am concerned, those who steal other peoples property, especially Alfas, loose their human rights!!

That includes thieving MP's, corrupt governments illegally bailing out private companies (banks) with taxpayers money, forcing people to obey laws illegal under the Magna Carta (EU), local governments fining people (under what law?). Any companies making obscene profits from basic necessities (oil, gas, electric, water) are stealing from people.

Any do gooder who sticks up for criminals should be treated the same as the criminal. How is it possible to feel sorry for a career criminal because he might have had a bad childhood?

Loose the clowns with a pointless degree who think it gives them the right to manage something (Police, CPS, Social Services, NHS, Cabinet) even though they have never done the job in the first place. Experience matters!

Until this vermin are eradicated from society then we have a very bleak future.

Summary execution? Bring it on!

Cody, feel for you mate, hope you get it back.
