Amazon/Hermes are fabulous as to where they leave your parcel. In many ways I'm happy I can just retrieve my parcel from next door's (good) or even behind my back gate.
I had to smile twice recently though. On arriving home Amazon delivery had delivered a 10"x6"x6" box under the front door welcome mat.
I should have had a photo but imagine a regular door mat with one end on the ground and at an angle of about 45° resting on the box. Properly hidden I think. On stumbling over the box (if you were blind of course) there was a post card informing me the parcel was under the front door mat.
My mum is in hospital at the moment but she ordered a leaf blower/sucker as that garage clearance company cleared her last one away for her
Anyway I went to pick her up some slippers and such from her house a couple of day ago. Went to clear the post from the front door and there is a Hermes post card.
Scrawled across it are the letters BH. I knew she was waiting for the leaf blower and went around the garden looking side of the garage, under the carport, back garden, under the car under the carport and nothing.
There was no box ticked so I took a chance that perhaps BH was actually Bin. Sure enough I open her blue coloured bin (for cardboard) low and behold...
I think they mush have thought it would be funny, but her neighbours are making sure her appropriate bins are put out on the right day. The leaf blower would have gone this week.
As such if I could be bothered I'd give them a single star. Brainless ****s.
