Lightbulb British Tourists who don't adjust headlights when on mainland Europe.

Go back to where you came from and don't darken our door again.

How should this be achieved? Is it still stickers on headlight glass?

The British are not the only culprits. I had a French colleague who had brought her car over from Normandy when coming to Work for Corus and was blithely driving around the UK totally oblivious of the need to mask the dipped lights. She seemed genuinely puzzled when the topic of adjusting UK headlights for the continent came up and it was pointed out that it applied in reverse, but for the same reasons, to her car as well.

Judicious application of a gendarme's baton would sort it.
Car off the road until the lights get fixed.

Others doing it elsewhere?
Do the same thing there too.
No need to try and use that as a get-out clause for people being inconsiderate [email protected]

Inconsiderate probably.

Uneducated definitely.

There is insufficient publicity about the requirements when crossing the Channel both for Brits going East and our European cousins coming West. Perhaps part of the security checks should be a check on the suitability of the vehicle for the area it is going to. It would be good to start with Eastern European HGVs which regularly dazzle on UK roads.
