People who say......

......."I don't have the time" FFS.

Just read a post on another forum. The poster reports a garage near him has a dyno. He's interest to find out the power of his car, £65 a pop.

He says, "I can't find the time to do it at the moment, it may be 2018 before I can fit it in".....REALLY?

Well I could find the time but not so sure I want to spend £65 just to know the power output of the Giulietta.

Presumably these are examples of money rich, time poor or, in my case, time rich, money poor

I imagine the person Verbout mentioned is merely trying to show either what long hours he has to work or how important he considers his time to be. In the first case he needs to learn how to work more efficiently, in the second he needs to learn just what a big fish in a small pond looks like in the real world.

Procrastination is the thief of time

I have worked with a great many of these people. If they shut their gobs and pulled their fingers out they would have loads of time.

For some people "being busy" is a way of life & a good way of avoiding doing any meaningful work. Conversely, the genuinely busy person will always find time to fit in an extra job.

I have a relative who is always busy, been busy all her life.

When I call around she is usually sat with a glass of wine in her hand, when I ask, "What ya been doing?" The reply is "I've just this minute sat down"

The average UK adult watches 24 hours of TV a week. 7 percent watch more than 40 hours a week.

I suspect that these might be the same people who are "too busy" to cook a proper meal or indeed to do anything useful.

Office Chair.

Too busy typing in **** on car internet forums to do anything.
It's taken me all summer to replace a master cylinder. Internet is just too damn big with naked ladies everywhere. No time FFS.
