I have a question to ask.

Is anyone else annoyed by non-descriptive thread titles/requests?
Where you have to open the thread to see what it's all about

No. And now that you've mentioned it, I'm going to start being more vague in my titles.

You mean using a thread title like "I have a question to ask" rather than "Why don't people use descriptive thread titles"?

Long lost Gibbo was fond of this practice IIRC, and the Happy Man was fond of suckering you in to one of his plagiarised joke threads with the same methodology.
I did find it mildly irritating at the time, but I'd be very pleased to see them both back on this forum

Exactly.

It was more a comment on tech threads.
(They do it on the Jeep forum too.)

I've decided to start all my threads with one word then put the rest of the title in the post.
