48 Hour With The Jeep

... and a drunk neighbour decides it could do with the rear quarter being stoved in with his PoS Renault5 van.

And then not even tell me.

Charmed.

Sorry to hear Nev, as you seem to know the perp and his blood alcohol levels, I'm hoping you'll be appropriately reimbursed.
Almost certainly not enough to compensate for the agro though

I think the message is very clear - those neighbours of yours don't like when you bring a new car. Tata was 'kissed with love' , wasn't it? Now Jeep.

You need to buy an old French banger and they won't touch it.

I feel for you, man. Not nice at all.

Sorry, my memory is not that good. But still I wouldn't trust those neighbours...

How did you manage to find out that it was exactly that guy who did it to Jeep?

The massive dent/split in his bumper. Deflated tyre. And his indicator lens
all over the ground and even a piece wedged between my rear wheel and its disc.
Oh and fibreglass residue from his split bumper all over my bumper.

It was lemon-entry.

FFS.

Drunk neighbour was out there when i left at
8 this morning.

He'd only gone and cleaned the damaged area
with a cloth and water. As if this would magically
fix the damage.

I wanted it to look the worst for the insurance
inspection.

All sorted. Insurance has given the go-ahead. Won't be getting a new alloy though.

Why not? It's damaged? You didn't buy the car like that.
