A dead swan

Near where I live there is a network of disused canals. Some still hold water, some don’t but all are very overgrown. As a result they are a haven for wildlife, especially swans, ducks and other birds. Every spring there are at least three swans sitting on nests waiting for their little ‘uns to hatch.

About 3 years ago, some idiot’s dog killed one of the swans. Given given where the nests tend to be located, I very much doubt that this was without the encouragement of the dog’s owner.

This morning I learn that some spiteful, wasteful, thoughtless waste of space, blood, organs and oxygen has shot and killed another one with an air rifle.

I cannot begin to understand what makes someone think that this is a good idea.

Auto Express - six issues for a quid. Offer must end soon (and then immediately start up again).

Office Chair.

T'is the queens and very much illegal.

On a lighter note (I think), Wednesday two pigeons (one pure white) landed right in front of my car. The grey thing took off in time but the white one... bang, rumble, tumble.. lots of feathers and as I looked in my rear view it was still stood up. I have no idea how because the arse end of my 159 is in the weeds, properly in'em and maybe even dangerously so, but it was there.

However a good distance behind the second car ran over dovey whilst he/she was getting back its bearings.

Not sure if it lived through that. To add insult being ran over by an Alfa (even a ****edup one like mine) is not bad but an Insignia/Vectra/Cavalier/Victor whatever :O

I'm not going anywhere, I'm just going.
Statements above are all my own opinion and not fact.

I'd love to be behind them with a twelve bore, and just before they pull the trigger, snap the barrels shut.

Sounds like the actions of a potential future serial killer and
should be investigated as such.
