The Thread of Outstanding Journalism

This thread is dedicated to those stories which show outstanding acheivments in journalism, those stories that changed the world and the way we think about it...

or

actually, it is the complete opposite of that, this thread is for those stories that you cannot actually beleive somebody was paid to write or even worse that somebody thought it was worthy of publishing.

The majority of these will likely stem from online news based outlets (FAKE NEWS if your name happens to be Donald) or the Daily Fail type institutions.

Try to avoid politics and keep it fun

First up.

FEMAIL looks for footwear to achieve perfect bottom lift | Daily Mail Online

Now this model does have a rather nice derrier and the pictures are worth a gander however I'm not sure this can count as journalism by any measure of the term.

I think that is an excellent and informative article. It's more infotainment than journalism. I always thought that female Mail readers all looked like Vanessa Feltz so I'm not sure of the relevance to them.

It's also possibly the most accurate piece of reporting I've ever read in the Mail.

In this footage you can see what its like to be Australian ...

the mateship of selfless passerbys who risk getting their Nikes wet to save a stranded foreigner

the fisherman

and the cop, who looked like he was just going to shoot him right there on the spot, just for being stupid ... until he saw he was being filmed...

My immediate thought was to have a look at the Daily Express. It didn't let me down.

I should imagine a 'large swing in blood pressure' could prove fatal for him.

No wonder Trump hates Mexikins, even with his small hands he'd feel somewhat inferior.
