Half Decent Car

at our recent xmas do with work the conversation moved on to cars and i was told by the bosses son that i now had a half decent car ( alfa 156 selespeed ) , yes after years of driving an assortment of euro-boxes the alfa is a great car but to be told its half decent by a bloke who drives a merc clk 320 convertable to which the top comes down any time the sun pokes it head out and the sunglasses go on needless to say this got my back up so i told him i was surprised he brought the merc becaused to me it looked like ladies car you know hairdresser / business women

Re: Half Decent Car

Probably get emphysema like me, from various inhaled pollutants, later in life, with his top down.

When I see the gunge in the twin pollen filters of the 147, I'm glad to be encompassed in that little cabin, with the aircon. I know the bacteria can be harmful, Legionnaire's Disease or something similar, but I try to keep them bugs roasted, as discussed previously.

Sorry rag top owners, not for this out of puff chap!: Not too bad in the '50's, when the smog had cleared, for top-down motoring.
