Re: Some T*SSER stole my AR Badge

Ahhh... feel bad for you mate. Must have really worked at it to remove the rear AR badge from a 147 though!

I know someone who was victim to this too, only they were also kindly left with a deep scratch from a slipped screwdriver or whatever tool the pikey used...

Re: Some T*SSER stole my AR Badge

Thanks mate. Luckily the scratch is quite small on mine. I think the new badge ive got to buy will just fit over the scratch. Feel like a nerd with my silver patch on the boot door.

Had my wing mirrors nicked off one of my old cars, I would have been happier if they just nicked the badge, sorry to hear though !

What a drag I hope the stealing of all car badges hasn't made a comeback.

Re: Some T*SSER stole my AR Badge

On my first Alfa 156...someone tried stealing the swivel badge on the boot...luckily the early 156's had a very solid metal badge...so it defeated the criminal, it still looked tatty though so had to replace

Remember when my mum bought her Micra in 1993, someone pulled off the Nissan badge from the back...thieving scum

Re: Some T*SSER stole my AR Badge

Has the badges nicked twice off one of my old 33s...ended up removing them myself everytime I parked anywhere away from home.

Some gimp also had a play with the rear badge on the 156 only weeks after I got it, left a notch on the edge of it, presumably with screwdriver or similar...luckily hardly noticable.
