My 164's off the road at the minute due to being hit by a bus. The insurance stuations still up in the air (bus driver claims I hit him despite being stationary
The repair quote I got was £1095, for a car with a list price of £400, so it's a writeoff.
My quandary is a friend (another bus driver as it happens) is swapping his Vauxhall Omega for a year-old Mazda 3 (
if MPS, otherwise
The Omega is a 1999 model with around 120-130k:
2.5V6 auto, almost perfect white leather, air con, CD, built in phone, heated seats, champagne gold paint.
He's looking for £1k.
Having ridden in it seems pretty good, but it is an Omega so the outside's dull & not an Alfa
Sounds like a bargain, (list price is more like £1600) with the advantage I know him well enough to know he's alright.
Question is what do I do? - the Omega's tempting, but I was going to wait until the insurance had been sorted (so I know I've got NCB) & get some time to scrape some cash together.
Hopefully I could then find a good 164/166(/156 at a push) for a grand or so then.
Incidentally I'm stuck with a poverty spec Vauxhall Cavalier at present
so anyway is up
