I had to vote "other", as my favourite was cross country running and sailing.

Most of them... I didn't get fat until I left school, mostly because I stopped playing any of them

Rugby Union for the school, scrum half.

Cricket, I was crap at it, always out on the boundary.

Football very rarely, due to above, but played all the time at breaks.

Table tennis for the school, and after school, if we missed the bus.

Athletics, high jump, using the straddle method just as the flop was getting popular. Couldn't master the flop.

Cross country isn't really a sport though,
it's just what we had to do if the pitches
were too wet or frozen.

I always thought of it as punishment, you did it when the teachers couldn't be arsed.

Ok, I'll replace the cross country running with Darts & Snooker, that we played at lunchtime in my mates dads pub.

Yes, I did. Mostly during History lessons. We would disappear to the park and talk to old flo, who was a bag lady who sat in the park covered seating area. She knew more about life, than any history teacher.

I have hurled in to the big white telephone a few times, does that count?

I am surprised that currently more people have voted to say that they played rugby than football.

Played Rounders at primary school. Baseball for girls. I was **** at that, Foosball, Cricket and almost got on the Rugby team but forget how I managed not to.

I ran for the school quite a bit. Won ****all though because the other schools had faster kids.

Other.

My main sporting achievement was avoiding any form of strenuous (or even light) exercise.

I laid claim to being the only kid with two usable legs never to have run in the school cross-country!

Now if only motor sport had been on the curriculum. . .
