Various sorts and various quantities of alcohol alongside cheese, crisps, nuts and dried fruit.

All in the good company of friends and family

With cream.

And a splash of alcohol. Brandy, whiskey, rum, whatever's to hand.

Ferrero Rocher for MrsJim. It's the only time of year she eats them and it's become a bit of a tradition that I get her a box as a stocking filler.

Pigs in blankets, stuffing and lots of cheeses after dinner do it for me. Not bothered about port though I will have a glass if offered.

Similar thing here, I only eat them at Christmas but I plough through 2 or 3 big boxes

Maybe so, but we like it. It has been a family traddition going way back to my childhood, when we would demand that the cork be allowed to take off! Old habits die hard.

I think it's one of those brands that sells well abroad but the
French themselves seem to not go for.

Like Citroen.
