MikePikey/Dreamfall - should we ban him?

I know, I know, the blokes a pain, a fanatasist, and obviously doesn't know how to behave in polite society. However, part of me feels sorry for him.

Clearly he has a personality disorder, and perhaps we should see his continued attempts to join this forum as a type of self-medication. Perhaps by mixing with us he hopes to socialise himself, and who knows, maybe even one day make a friend.

And let's be honest, he is entertaining, with his deranged ramblings and threats to get the forum closed - he's gives us all a good laugh and makes even the most insecure of us feel superior.

So, my question to you is this, when MikeyPikey joins again under another pseudonym should we ban him?

In every step, I hear your sobbing
Dare I break the shade with one caress
Dare I trespass to lift the veil
To touch the lips so soft and frail

It may be that love comes once and once only, preceded by rehersal, followed by regret.

Know well that however right a man may be they always find the fallen one guilty.

All that is required for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing

I think next time we should allow him to stay - but perhaps give him his own padded cell lounge for him to post in

Maybe we should really try and be patient next time. We may grown to love each other.

Re: MikePikey/Dreamfall - should we ban him?

He takes up too much time from us mods, and winds up/maddens other posters.

Keeping track of folks like him is a PITA, to say the least.

So, a ban is the best option. Not to mention that he is already banned from this place, which means that he has no right to be here to begin with.

But, AFAIK, his threads have been only locked, and not deleted, for the enjoyment of future readers.

A bit of controversy never goes amiss unless of course it's personally offensive or derogatory to anyone.

I dont even know who he is......

Not many posts (50 or so I think) over the past handful of days. Search on his name, there's some funny stuff there.

I voted "no" - we can always each choose to ignore his posts, but now I see your point Ant, so perhaps it's for the best.

You know, when he first started posting I thought it was just me he was having a go at! Glad to learn it wasn't personal, after all, I am not half the man he is, am I?

So were they definitely one and the same? Have there been other incarnations?
