Contact lens wearers

Do you think its harder to get your eyes in when your fingers are all pruned up from a bath or shower?

My well manicured, bright red talons, tend to get in the way a bit. Crickey! have trouble finding me' specs, without poking me' eyeballs about.

Re: Contact lens wearers

I have those ones that you wear day and night for 30 days, so don't need to take them out for baths and showers.

When I used to wear ones that I had to take out at night I had an accident once. I came back from the pub with a Kebab loaded with Chilli sauce (As you do) and forgot to wash my hands properly before removing my lenses. The next day when I put them back in there was some serious swearing.

I have 30 day contacts, but you do have to take them out every few days for a dip in the eye wash. I leave them overnight and put 'em back in the next day.

Because of the Posty strike I've been waiting for a fresh batch of eyes and have been wearing window frames They were delivered just before I had a bath, Posty caught me in my dressing gown worst of all he bets in my shop too. Anyway, I put them in after I had a bath and it was a tad more difficult than usual. Its always quite difficult because of my bloody long eyelashes

Re: Contact lens wearers

I've never had that problem. Usually they go in no problem before or after bathing.

Worst is getting a tiny bit of lint on the inside.....

Re: Contact lens wearers

I always put mine in/take out after a shower to make sure my hands are squeaky clean. Was grinding once and got something in my eye. Had to try and take the lense out with dirty hands, ****** me did that hurt.

Re: Contact lens wearers

I would have to wear quite thick glasses, so the contacts are a much better option for me. You can also see a lot better with contacts than with glasses.

Agreed - I hate wearing glasses and it's not (just ) vanity.
