Heated seats , yes, make me feel like I'm incontinent... I haven't been before by the way!

Heated steering wheel, nice warm handies on a cold morning.

I suppose if you were really old and had bad circulation there might be a justification, but otherwise, no. Bit like heated chainsaw handles, anyone who specifies these outside Canada is a bit suspect.

We now have our second Beamer with heated steering wheel.
Must be the best car option of all times!

Office Chair.

Never heard of it until today let alone experienced it. I do rather like heated seats though.

First seasonal use, 06:00 hrs, of the heated seats this morning......scrumptious......

Took the wife to work and couldn't get her out of the car.

If only temporarily

I absolutely lambasted a friend of mine who ordered it as an option in his 4x4 Porker.... But I ticked the box about ten years later for the family Rangie and do really like it. I don't think it's an age thing but now I'm in my forties who knows!

Obviously I couldn't possibly comment having never pee'd on myself whilst driving my car. Maybe that is why the bottom end dropped out of my first escort 1300. The previous owner did 'have that look'...

The only heated thing I've ever considered a must-have
option is the heated thumb throttle on a snowmobile.

The heat from my seats does not produce that all pervading urine smell, I do not require a shower afterwards, I do not require a change of clothing, and lastly its not squishy.

Office Chair.

First heated seats I used were in a Volvo 340. This as everyone knows is a horrible car. Looks crap, goes.. well, not really and TBH mine smelled bad. The previous owner/s honest gov.

That did smell like I'd wet myself Heated seats in that definitely gave you that wet feeling. However the handling was so bad I'm not sure if maybe I did **** once or twice in that car.

The GT however is no such thing. Heated seats make up for the useless heater

I had a defective heat panel in the drivers seat, so when verifying that with the thermal imager I took a picture of the steering wheel as well. :-)
(Defective seat leftmost in the pic below. Working seat in the middle.)
