The best "Kray" film?

My younger work colleagues were enthusing and telling me to go and see the latest Kray film. I told them that I reckoned the best one was probably made years ago with the Kemp Brothers playing Ronald & Reggie. (which none of them has seen)A simple vote here...which one for you, if you have ever been interested in either.

I've not seen the new one. I like Tom Hardy a lot but, from what I've read, the portrayal isn't 100% accurate. I thought the Kemps did a decent job of it and Billie Whitelaw was outstanding as their mum.

I'll probably give the new one a watch at some point.

Not seen any!

Kept up to date reading the Screws of the World in BFPO30 at that time, but in all honesty I was more interested in following the Profumo Christine Keeler, Mandy Rice Davis tasty ***-bits, week by week. :

Tom Hardy is very good so I will give it a watch, have nothing to go on story wise so cant say if it is a true representation or not

Best way with films based, however loosely, on real events. If you know the subject really well, it's hard to avoid spending your time picking holes in the plot.

Is there a 5 minute film explaining how two murderous thugs
ended up rotting in jail until they died?

I'd watch that one.

Have now seen the new one. Tom Hardy is absolutely brilliant in both roles.
