Chrome (silver plastic) mirrors on the Ti's

I like the 159 Ti and the GT Blackline.. but on both of them the mirrors have a silver effect (plastic) cover.

I can't help thinking this is actually not as nice as leaving the mirrors body-coloured... but what do I know?

So, silver-effect mirrors (on anything other than silver car): Cool or Fool?

Difficult to say without seeing them. But black sounds nicer.

But if I had either car, I'm not sure I would be too worried!

159 Ti is a lovely car but the mirrors are not nice and the black one is very dark inside - too dark for me anyway.

They look good on the Audi RS4 and RS6.

Cool but not bothered either way. On a Stromboli one they're not that visable. I had a good look and they appear to be metal

And therefore very expensive to replace.

I think they are brushed aluminium or SS. Not keen on them on the black or red cars but look OK in Stromboli (honestly). I think the 159 Ti is a great package but too flash for my taste and the interior is too dark.

On the GT blackline and new 147 sport the mirror finish matches that on the grille.I presume the 159 Ti is the same,so the overall effect is good.Dont just look at the mirrors!

I saw them on lots of cars in Mango's showroom at the weekend, can't say I'm a fan of them on any of the cars.

Body colour please!

not a big fan of them personally, the mirrors on the 159 are large to say the least so (on the black one at least) they stick out a bit too much. probably less noticeable on the stromboli grey though. as for the dark interior on the Ti, i LOVE it

I think the 159 Ti is absolutely fantastic! It's nearly as good as the interior in my 156 Ti.
