I own a bus company my drivers have to wear a hi vis vest, so far so good, up until the health and safety officionado got involved no accidents, after they got involved, one driver with a hi vis vest crushed between two buses one reversed over, [email protected] drivers yes! saved by the hi vis vest ? i dont think so! health and safety is fine but as per Britain way over the top now flame me

Re: Hi Vis

i've got a yellow one with "B&I Line" on the back from my old summer job on the docks when i was a student many moons ago. never used it since, but nice to know i've got one for when the nanny state tells us we have to wear one to nip down the shops. all i need now is a pair of safety goggles so i can boil the kettle

Yellow vest with reflective stripes. If you walk around construction or transportation sites you will know why they are necessary.

Re: Hi Vis

yellow vest, don't wear it much because I don't get out on site much.

a bit useful during the day (unless you're standing beside a digger), and invaluable when it's dark.

Yep a yellow one for me. It is behind my desk in my white hard-hat sitting on top of my black steel toe-capped boots.

H&S requirements for when I visit building sites.
