How far into winter does it have to get before you abandon shorts?

I'm an inveterate wearer of shorts and sandals. It's a look I've cultivated for years, and I know I'm carrying it off in high style.

My question is, how far into the year do you tend to go?

I rarely wear them, unless we have a heat wave.

Our posties generally carry on wearing them 'til October or so iirc?

I'll ask Michelle (our lady regular postie) when she leaves hers off for the Winter?

I much prefer wearing shorts too, been wearing them since we had some nice weather in March

I would probably not wear them after November tho... Bit too chilly even on sunny days

Haven't worn shorts , outside of sport, since I was about 7 ! I see so many men walking around in shorts and a T-shirt or football shirt with their wives / girlfriends but they look like boys out with their mum!

Sandals!!! :headbang:

In later years I'm very much of the mid/far east school of thought: short trousers are for children.

I cant understand how people in those hot countries can go about their daily lives wearing suits and jeans in 40 degree+ heat... (you get used to it to some extent but not that much)

Then they are sweating their nuts off but refuse to wear shorts

If EiS says he also wears socks with his sandals & shorts I'll be proposing his name & address for
Call Me's next drone escapade.....

I wear shorts if I go to the beach. Got nothing against shorts per se although shorts+winter=massive dong.

Wearing shorts with a massive dong is a bit of a challenge for sure.

In our climes: never in public.

Top down driving, on the other hand, is heavily encouraged.
