What car should BigFoot-o buy??

Since he's too lazy to post a poll by himself, I'm doing it for him as a favour.

Now remember this if I ever get to Tokyo.

Re: What car should BigFoot-o buy??

I'd say the Alfa Romeo.

The 3200 is a great car, but the 4200 is a better one and 4200 prices are coming down now - just over £20k here. I suspect if you buy a 3200 you might think 'what if....'

Whereas the Alfa is what it is.

It has to be the MAserati, if you can afford to do it now then do it because there's no saying what might happen in the future, you'll always be able to pick up an Alfa but a good Maser is that something special you'll kick yourself about if you never do it. One life mate

Hell yeh what Ghosty said. If you can afford it enjoy it. You can trade it for the Alfa when you get bored

Re: What car should BigFoot-o buy??

Its got to be the Maser BF! 3200, 4200, who cares, both are better than any Alfa ever!!

(Except the 8C of course, but that is in a different league price-wise )

...in that case can I change my vote, I'd definitely go for the 4200.

Sorry about that, I thought I'd read in another thread that you were looking at a 3200...

No sweat, I was actually looking at a used 3200 but that went and then I found the one I drove today and thought ... "what the hell"

If the Maserati is in your budget you'd be mad to get an Alfa instead.

Re: What car should BigFoot-o buy??

You really think so?

The Spider would be a much more carefree drive. TBH when I test drove the Maser I was very afraid I'd knock something (it's a LHD as well ).

Well it all depends what you want from the car.

Re: What car should BigFoot-o buy??

Is this your Tokyo car? If so, why not import a UK RHD Maser 4200?

How long are you going to be living in Tokyo for? If its not for long, just buy the left hooker, at least it'll hardly depreciate. If you go back to Italy, you could consider taking it with you.

Maser. No disrespect to Alfa but it's in a different league.

Not sure, perhaps not so long. I really don't have the [email protected] to look at importing a car ...

Re: What car should BigFoot-o buy??

The Maser, no question.

Even if it turns out to be a shed and you sell it in a few months, at least you can say you've owned one.

It's better to regret something you did, than something you didn't do. Not that I expect you'll regret buying a Maserati......

Bigfoot, you're a lucky, lucky man to be in the position to even think about getting one of those beautiful machines
