Brera and Spider: Which engine did you choose?

Just a quickie as it seems that there are more 3.2s out there than 2.2s. Which Brera/Brera-gen Spider engine did you buy? If you want to post your specs go ahead - particularly colour

Very nice! May I ask, are you going for a finance deal? You don't have to answer, it's just that paying out for all those options up front would be a bit pricey?

actually neither - the vehicle is a replacement for my current Alfa, courtesy of the lovely folks at ARUK, on account of the first one failing to meet the very high standards expected of a 30+ Alfa Romeo.

Ah right I thought it was the replacement one - but I didn't realise you're not actually paying anything toward the new car - nice one!!

IMO No

IMO the lights come on way too late (too dark) for me and the wipers need some prozac to calm them down a bit !!

Seriously though... I wouldn't spec it as an option again on any car !!

Yeah it takes about 20 - 25 mins to clean them properly. Which is why I got the package where HR Owen's valet cleans the car for me any saturday morning for as long as I own the car!

The auto lights are useful for tunnel driving.
(Not much call for that in Reading I suppose. )

The auto wipers are worse than useless.
(Weird as the 147s were fine.)
Will be asking the dealer to disconnect the
wiper sensor at the service.

Never had any misting problems so don't even
know if the auto demister works.

They're not much fun on London's North Circular @ Park Royal where there are three bridges close together... people in front of you think you are flashing them to get out of the way judging by the reactions I've had !!

But on the A8/A10 from Nice to Genoa
which has a dozen plus lit tunnels with
mandatory lights-on ...

They are terrible - like fish said - about 5 minutes a wheel. Everytime I go to clean them I think - "why did I get these again?".

On the other hand - once cleaned, I remember why
