Other. JPS, Gulf or maybe Bastos. Rothmans Escorts and Mantas always looked good too.

The point of the poll is to pick a livery, not demonstrate made up colours on cars that didn't race in 'em or virtual tat off your Nintendo or whatever.

Nutbar!

EDIT: In the Lancia pic, is that the gearstick on the road underneath?

Both good but I'll go Alitalia. My heart always skips a beat when I see a real Stratos in its perfect colour scheme (thanks Nev).

Gulf definitely has to be right up there too. Possibly Marlboro and Camel too.....I did say too and not "toe".

Gaz didnt say specifically but he has been debating what to do with his (other) GTV... he wants to go Martini colours and others say Alitalia.

If it's racing livery, he should go "Easyjet", like the other one.

I thought rgwm had towed it away though.

Why would you paint a road car in full rally or race livery?

Or is it the basic scheme, colours or stripes? Martini stripes do look pretty good on a white sports car now I think about it and I've seen a couple of smart Caterhams and even a 911 in Gulf colours - no sign writing.

Is this what you're thinking of Gaz?

Well since GobbyGreener has opened his mouth, i have an idea for my old twinny Gtv that i have reacquired. Its paint is a bit shabby, even by pre-orange V6 standards so it's getting a white wrap. I'm also stripping the interior and having a pair of buckets and harnesses, probably doing the 20v turbo conversion at some point. Now i do like white Gtv's but i just wondered about sticking some race livery on it as well. It will only be used as a event drive out car and for track days so I don't have an issue with it looking silly to the mass traditionalists. Its a project after all
